South shore

Welcome to South shore, this starts from Waterloo Road and ends at Starr Gate. In this area you will find many shops, (small individual shops) Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Pleasure Beach and of course there is the Pier too. On the Pier you will find Bungee jumping, pubs, amusements and rides.

There is a wide and varied choice of things to see and do in South Shore. The main attraction in South shore must be the Pleasure Beach with its fast rides and the live entertainment like the famous Hot ice show that is new every year. In the last year a hotel which is call simply the Blue Hotel (Guess Why?) which is facing Blackpool South Train station, and is right on the doorstep of the Pleasure Beach. The only problem with Blackpool South station is it only runs one train an hour.

Also in South shore is the Airport, which is handy for flying into. They have a retail park just along the road from the Airport with some of the big shops like PC world, Halfords, Curry’s eg. There are always things to do here and don’t cost the earth, you can find a B& B from around £9.00 a night.
